What is ZPL and why convert it to PDF
ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) is the language Zebra thermal printers use to draw labels. Marketplaces and couriers often provide the shipping label in this format. The problem: without a Zebra printer, the ZPL file won't print correctly.
By converting ZPL to PDF, you can print the label on any regular printer, on plain or adhesive paper at the 4ร6 in size the carrier expects.
For beginners: print labels without a thermal printer
If you're just starting to sell and don't have a Zebra printer, this is the simplest path: download the ZPL label from your marketplace dashboard, drop the file here, pick your label size and download the PDF. Print it in black and white and stick it on the package.
For Zebra users: fine-tuning
In advanced mode you control density (203, 300 or 600 dpi), exact dimensions and rotation, and you can see the code's validation warnings โ handy for diagnosing labels that come out cropped or misaligned on the thermal printer.
